The importance of pH scale measurement

In chemistry, the word is one repeated use which is pH value. We often measure pH values in chemistry for many purposes. But this pH value is not only for science experiments, it is also used in our day-to-day life.   The pH stands for “potenz” which means power in German language. The pH scale is used to measure the hydrogen ion concentration in a solution. All living organisms have pH values, our human body works within the pH range of 7.0 to 7.8. In case the pH range is changed in our body, the consequence affects our body system. Suppose our mouth pH range is lower than 5.5, tooth enamel will decay. In case the pH value range of the human body or human blood is changed, it will definitely cause some diseases.

The pH value is 7 – neutral

The pH value is less than 7 – acid

The pH value is greater than 7 – base

When the pH paper is changed from red litmus to blue that is the base.
When the pH paper is changed from blue litmus to red that is acid.

If the human body pH level of 6.9 it becomes prone to some viral infections like colds or coughs.

If the human body's pH level of 5.5, cancer cells thrive inside the body.

Human body stomach fluid level of 2.0 is a must for the digestion of food.

The human blood range is 7.35-7.45, if any increase or decrease in this value it will lead to some diseases.
