Every charge in the
universe creates an electric field in the surrounding space, and if another
charge is brought near that field, it will experience a force.
Electric field lines have some rules; all electric field
lines are satisfied with the rules. Electric field lines form a set of continuous
lines. Electric field lines start from a positive charge to end at a negative charge. For positive point charges, the electric field lines point
radially outward in direction. For the negative point charge the electric field
lines point radially inward direction.
Suppose the two electric field lines cross at a point, the
there will be two different directions moving at the same time. But it is
physically impossible. The electric field lines of two charges are never intersected.
How to one point charge is felt the
nearby another point charge attraction?
That is the electric field lines, when one charge is the point near another point charge, they will get attraction between them. Because of charges
are having electric field lines. When one point charge is suited near another, their electric fled lines emanate from the positive charge or end at
a negative charge is directly proportional to the magnitude of the charges.
